Alliance for African American Health in Central Texas (AAAHCT):
Providing free Clinical Breast Cancer screenings by Dr. Lamia Kadir from 2 pm to 4 pm for people who are uninsured (have no health insurance) or those who are underinsured (have health insurance but cannot afford to pay because co-pay and/or deductible is too high). Advanced scheduling is preferred, so please call (512) 402-2242 to book your clinical breast exam today.
City of Austin Health Department HIV Testing Mobile Unit:
Providing free confidential/private HIV testing
City of Austin Health Department African American Quality of Life Mobile Unit:
Providing free Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose (Sugar) testing
Area Agency on Aging:
Providing free medication screening. It will be helpful to bring a list of any prescription medications you are taking. This is helpful if you are taking multiple prescription medications to find out if there are any drug interactions or side effects you need to be aware of.
